📢 Advertisement Management

This guide explains how to create, manage, and archive advertisements using the backoffice interface.

🖥️ Channels

There are two types of advertisement channels. Both use the same configuration UI:

  • Playsite – Ads shown on the playsite

  • In-Stream – Ads shown inside a video broadcast

📌 Playsite Channel

Ad Type

For Playsite ads, the ad type defines:

  • What kind of banner it is

Banner types:

  • Banner

    • Banners are displayed among the main content of the app. They can be displayed in up to 3 slots.

  • Sidebar

    • The sidebar is displayed on the side of the main content. It follows the page as the user scrolls down

  • Footer

    • Footer ads are displayed at the bottom of the page

The advertisements with the name “slot…” are banners. The blue ad on the side is a sidebar

Ad Targets

Some ad types have configurable targets, which determine the pages they can appear on.

  • All applicable targets are added automatically when creating a new ad

  • Each target can be customised to show on:

    • All entities (default)

    • Specific items (e.g., a specific competition)

Example:
A banner targeting the "Competition" page can be configured to:

  • Show on all competition pages

  • Show only on selected competitions

📌 In Stream Channel

Ad Type

For in stream ads, the ad type defines:

  • What event the ad should be displayed with

In stream types:

  • Sponsor slide

  • Match event goal

  • Match event penalty

  • Period start

  • Clock stop

  • Interval

Ad Target

A In Stream ad can only have one target configured. You can specify what target the ad should appear on.

In stream targets:

  • Site

  • Competition

  • Group

  • Broadcast

📁 Archiving and Restoring Ads

Archive an Advertisement

A archived product does not appear on the Playsite and not in the overview of active advertisements. It is not deleted and can be restored from the advertisement detail page or the archived advertisements tool on the advertisement overview page.
