Graphics Delay for Broadcasts

Adding a Delay to Graphics for Stream Synchronization

When a camera utilizes a cloud producer to add graphics to the stream, the graphics may sometimes appear before the video signal. This document outlines how to introduce a delay to ensure that the graphics align properly with the video stream.

Setting the Graphics Delay

On the Camera Detail page, an input field is available for applicable camera types. This field accepts a numeric value greater than 0 and allows you to set a delay for the graphics rendered on a broadcast using that specific camera. The delay value is measured in milliseconds (1000ms = 1 second).

How the Delay Works

The delay is applied when the broadcast begins, ensuring the graphics appear in sync with the video signal.

Note: Changing the delay value for the camera during an ongoing broadcast will not affect the current live stream.

Note: This settings only applies to cloud producer broadcasts and there is no local camera client.
