Step-by-step guide
In Backoffice
To start off, you need to give a Play site user access to administer a campaign for a group.
As a Backoffice Admin or Super Admin, make a Play site user Member of a Group. Give them Full access or Campaign access.
On Play site
Firstly, you need to reserve a campaign slot for the Group (club) or Player level (team) that wants to run a campaign.
As a Play Site Admin, navigate to the Group’s page on the Play site.
e.g. www.playsite.com/en/club/your-club-name
Navigate to the Groups’s administration page by clicking on the cog wheel in the upper right corner.
Click on “Reserve” on an available slot to reserve a campaign slot for the Group.
You can make a reservation either on Group level (visible on all Player levels in the Group) or on a certain Player level.
Choose what campaign period the Marketing Campaign should run.
Thereafter, you as a Site Admin or the Play site user needs to add content to the campaign.
As the Play Site User who was granted Member access above (or continue as Site Admin if you are managing the campaign content yourself), navigate to the group’s page on the play site and click on the cog wheel in the upper right corner of the page. This will take you to the Club administration pages.
Under the tab ‘Markering, click on 'Add’ on the newly reserved Marketing Campaign slot. You will now be asked to chose the organisation to which the campaign belongs.
Note: If the organisation is not created yet, you do this as a Site Admin from the Site administration pages.
In the next step, you will be asked to upload Site Banners (for campaign shown on the play site) and Video banners + logos (for campaigns shown in-stream). Do this, then press “Save”.
For a campaign that runs only on the play site (not in-stream), upload mobile and desktop banners only.
For a campaign that runs only in-stream, upload Video logo and banner only.
Please note: As of today, we do only show ‘Company logo’ in-stream, banners are not yet supported.
Campaign precedence examples
Campaign slots reserved on site-wide level have precedence over campaigns reserved on Group level and on Player level.
For banners on Play site, this means:
If the site has 8 marketing slots configured (i.e. shows a maximum of 8 banners on each page, this is configured by a Site Admin on the admin pages of the site), and 4 campaigns are added on site-wide level, that leaves 4 available slots on Group level. If a Group (e.g. Team A) then adds 2 campaigns on Group level, that leaves 2 slots available for Player levels under the Group (e.g. Team A Senior, Team A Junior) to reserve slots.
Limitations
Please note that as of today, there are only six (6) slots available for company logos in the pre-game screen. If you have added campaigns on site-wide level, they have precedence over campaigns on Group level. Hence, in the example above, only logos from the 4 campaigns on site-wide level will be visible.
